Scope and Content

The collection contains copies of deeds and leases for property owned or rented by Daniel Deady in Baltimore City and County. Deady purchased a significant amount of property from John Eager Howard along Howard Street in Baltimore City. He also rented out his properties. The documents date from 1793 to 1816 and include Deady’s will. The collection is arranged chronologically.
