Family Days - Harvesting the Past: Native Americans in Maryland

Free Family Program. Enjoy a day of celebration and discovery for the whole family inspired by the collections and exhibits of the Maryland Historical Society. Family days will feature a variety of themed hands-on activities, scavenger hunts, and more for kids ages 4 and up. Harvesting the Past: Native Americans in Maryland Maybe you’ve heard about the pilgrims in New England and the first Thanksgiving, or the landing of the Ark and the Dove in St Mary’s, but what else can we learn about Native Americans in Maryland? Visitors will learn about several Native American tribes from Maryland, farming and harvesting in Maryland, and more!
