Annual Fund
The annual fund is dedicated to general operating expenses and support for a variety of program areas. This includes efforts such as preserving and expanding collections, presenting educational programs, creating special exhibits, and outreach.
Unless directed to a specific program or project, annual fund gifts provide vital and flexible resources that allow the MdHS to respond to all opportunities. These gifts fund programs reflecting institutional needs and priorities.
To restrict your gift for a specific purpose, consider the following options:
- Museum - support conservation and acquisition of paintings, textiles, silver, furniture, or other artifacts.
- Library - support conservation and acquisition of books, manuscripts, or prints.
- Friends of the Press - support publication of the finest new work in Maryland history.
- Education - support scholarship funds for tours, workshops, and traveling trunks for Maryland school children.
