How to Submit a Manuscript
Authors wishing to submit a proposal should send a brief prospectus, addressing the following elements of the manuscript:
- Thesis, methodology, conclusions or findings, and intended audience;
- Original contribution to the field;
- Expected length, table of contents, and number of illustrations, if available;
- Schedule for completion of the manuscript;
- An Introduction or sample chapter(s);
- An up-to-date curriculum vitae with author’s contact details.
All submissions are reviewed by the Director of Publications and the Publications Committee, a volunteer group of distinguished historians and publishers at the MdHS. We accept electronic and hard-copy submissions. Please address your proposal to:
