Support educational programs for Maryland school children
This past year, MdHS Educational Programs served over 60,000 children from all Maryland counties. Schools near our Mount Vernon campus enjoy history workshops and museum tours on-site. MdHS reaches out to other schools around the state by providing In-Class Field Trips conducted by experienced museum teachers or Traveling Trunks full of reproduction artifacts and documents, audiovisuals, and lesson plans.
