Permission to Publish Photograph Collections Once you have located a photograph that you wish to publish in your book, article, newspaper, television program or WEB site, you must obtain permission to do so from the Rights and Permissions Office, a branch of the MHS Publications Division. Normally, permission to publish should be obtained when ordering copies of photographs from the MHS Photographer.
