            XEBEC ULTOR AND DECATUR SHIPS' PAPERS, MS.1535
            journal of Commander James Matthews's voyage from Baltimore, December
            6, 1814, on the privateer xebec Ultor to the West Indies, returning in April,
            1815. Accounts of ships met and captured, vessels boarded, ports visited.
            Collection of papers relating to the privateer Decatur. Includes notarized
            agreement of officers and crew appointing the owner of the vessel, Richard
            H. Douglass (d. 1827), as attorney for the crew. Letters from crew mem-
            bers to Douglass, stating what was seized and what was due to them. Crew
            list. The ship sailed from Charleston, South Carolina, to France, August,
            1814, and captured the British brig William (cargo list included). List
            of agents for the schooner Decatur to whom her prizes were to be consigned.

            YOUNG, DR. HUGH, COPIES OF EARLY MARYLAND
            MATERIAL, MS.1121
            Copies of papers relating to Maryland, 1629-1728, made by Dr. Young,
            1938 (published and unpublished). Include warrants, a petition, a patent,
            letters of Charles, 3rd Lord Baltimore, to William Penn; letters of Charles
            II, and of various governors and proprietaries. Copy (contemporary) of
            a treaty with the Sinico and Pascattoway Indians, April 16, 1685.
            40 items, 1629-1728 (1938).


            YOUNG, HUGH H., PAPERS, MS.1088
            Collection of material of Dr. Hugh Hampton Young (1870-1945), mainly
            relating to his activities in World War I. Orders, transfers, typed reports,
            correspondence, maps, printed pamphlets, magazine and newspaper
            articles. Largely concern his duties and findings as Director of Urology,
            American Expeditionary Forces, in World War I.
            c. 100 items, 1917-1920.


            YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION SCRAPBOOK, MS.934
           Collection of clippings pertaining to the erection of the new Young Men's
           Christian Association building on Franklin and Cathedral Streets, Balti-
           more, 1906-1909. Reports of the building inspector on the- progress-of the
           work, donations, dedication.
