Diary of [-Slaughter?] copied 1886 from the original lent to Stewart by his sister-in-law. Diary kept July-Sept. 1776 while writer a prisoner in Sorel near Quebec after being captured in the battle of Trois Rivieres in June 1776- writer an American officer from Virginia.
Volume containing 6th Ward - Proceedings of the Democratic Assoc., 1847. Includes clippings of political satires etc.
