First Entries  Also included with these records are three volumes of ‘first entries’. The introductions indicate that the first entries were made by the officiating clergy and then book then given to the Register of the Parish to enter in the Parish Register.

 

In Box 3 is a bound volume with the first entries for:

            Baptisms – October 3, 1864 to September 25, 1870

            Marriages – April 28, 1859 to April 21, 1870

            Burials – April 28, 1859 to Nov 13, 1870

 

In Box 4  and on Microfilm Roll 2 there are three additional bound volumes of first entries.  The dates of the entries are:

                        Baptisms – March 3, 1856 to August 3, 1865.  Much of the book is blank.

 

                        Baptisms – December 1, 1870 to July 24, 1876

                        Marriages – January 5, 1870 to June 1, 1876
