Correspondence about conveying to the city 33 1/2 acres of Uplands (country estate of Robert Garrett and Mary Frick Jacobs) for a public park near Edmondson Ave., the grantors being the Convention of the Protestant Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Maryland, and The Robert Garrett Fund for the Surgical Treatment of Children.

One folder containing material on National Distributing Properties, Inc.; and the dissolution of the R.D. Brown Building Corporation, George D. List, President (1951), and of Massachusetts Chain Store Terminals, Inc. (1953). Three folders containing letters, memos, and notes (not in chronological order) about a proposed office building for the B & O Railroad Company. Many of the memos concern the benefits to be expected, with descriptions of the actual experience of various companies which had moved into new quarters, or renovated old ones.
