Scope and Content

The collection contains photographs taken by Harry S. Scott of Baltimore City. Parks and open space in the city were Scott’s main subjects, but photographs of the Chesapeake Bay are also included. A majority of the photographs are undated but appear to have been taken in the 1970’s. Some pamphlets and ephemera relating to the printing business also make up the collection.

The collection is arranged in three series based on topic: Chesapeake Bay, Churches, and Baltimore. The photographs are identified, when possible, by location and the title provided by Scott.
