Scope and Content

Cherry Hill Farm was located west of Baltimore on Reisterstown Road. The Cherry Hill Farm Photograph Album was produced by the Maryland State Fair Board in 1945, as a pictorial record of the October 1, 1945 “Shorthorn Field Day and Type Conference” sponsored by the Maryland Shorthorn Breeders’ Association, held at the farm on October 1, 1945. The 37 photographs mainly depict cattle being shown to visitors.
