Guidelines for Donating an Object to the Museum

Should you wish to donate an object to the collection, please note the following guidelines:

• Please contact the museum division at (410) 685-3750, ext. 330 if you are considering the donation of an object
  
  
• Objects should be made by a Marylander, for a Marylander, or used by a Marylander.
  
  
• A one-page form, obtained from the curatorial department, noting information about the object, along with a photograph, must be submitted to the Museum.
  
  
• A committee comprised of MdHS staff, board members, community members, and outside curators reviews each potential acquisition at scheduled times throughout the year.
