Hours of Operation:

HOURS:
The Library is normally open Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Closed for lunch 12pm - 1pm.

EXCEPTIONS:

The Library will be CLOSED on the following days, the actual dates of which vary by year:

New Year's Day

The first week of January (for inventory)
Good Friday

July 4 (Independence Day)

November 11 (Veterans Day)
Thanksgiving Day
Friday after Thanksgiving

December 23 (if Christmas Day falls on a Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday)

December 24 through January 1 or 2 (Holidays)

The Library will CLOSE EARLY (at 12 noon or 1 p.m.) for the staff picnic and the staff holiday party.  Dates vary by year, and we will post information as soon as we can.

Inclement Weather
In case of major weather events such as snowstorms or hurricanes, the Library may be closed, not open until later than usual, or close earlier than usual. Please call the main MdHS number at 410-685-3750 after 8 a.m. for updates on our opening and closing status.
