LOCAL & FAMILY HISTORY READING ROOM:
A
standard copy machine with change dispenser is available in Reference
South. Copies are self-service and cost $0.25/page. The copier will
accept bills, but makes change all in quarters; change also is available
at the Library reception desk. Please check with the reference librarian
regarding the suitability of copying from pamphlets and fragile
books.
MICROFILM
READING ROOM:
There
are three microfilm copiers. Copies are self-service and cost $0.75/page. The
copiers sometimes are balky, and you should not hesitate to ask
at the Library reception desk for assistance.
McILVAIN
SPECIAL COLLECTIONS READING ROOM:
Patrons
using the Special Collections Reading Room should make photoduplication
requests of staff. Requests for photoduplication will be considered
when such duplication can, in the judgement of the staff, be done
without injury to the manuscript. Reproduction is therefore a privilege
and not a service to be rendered on demand. Photoduplication will
be done at the rate of $0.50/page and may be done only by staff
members. No orders will be taken after 4 PM. If possible, we will
photocopy your order the same day; otherwise, please allow up to
four weeks for copying and mailing. It is understood that the reproduction
is to be made solely for your convenience in examining the manuscript;
that the reproduction will not itself be reproduced; and that it
will not be transferred to any other person or institution without
the prior permission of the Special Collections Librarian.
