Let the MdHS help with activities that can be difficult to do in troop meetings -participate in workshops and complete post visit activities in your troop meetings.

Brownies and Junior Girl Scouts can complete badges or a Brownie Try-it! Enjoy a great museum learning experience at the MdHS!

Local Lore Bag-a-Badge

Saturdays On Demand

Take a tour of the MdHS museum and learn an important Maryland story. Examine maps from long ago and see how our state has changed in 300 years. Design your own newspaper page and create a diorama of the city of the future. Bridging Brownies and Junior Girl Scouts can have fun, learn the story of our state and earn the Local Lore Badge!

 

Listening to the Past Try-it | Especially for Brownies

Be history detectives—what has been left behind that will tell us about the past? Let's listen to a young girl’s thoughts from her diary, see what we can learn from a cemetery, or play the games and do the work familiar to children of the past. Complete activities for the Listening to the Past Try-it, learn about the past and have lots of fun at the Maryland Historical Society!

All bag-a-badge programs are $10 per Girl Scout. One complimentary adult chaperone is admitted for every three paid Girl Scouts.
