Hours and Admission

Maryland Historical Society members receive free museum and library admission all year long. Click here to learn how to become a member.

Guided group tours are available for groups of ten or more and are free with admission.

Museum:

Hours: Open Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Closed Monday and Tuesday.

Admission:

Adults - $4

Children 13-17 years, Students with ID, Seniors - $3

Children 12 and under - Free

On the first Thursday of every month, the MdHS offers free museum admission.

Library:

Hours: Open Wednesday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and for lunch 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

Admission: $6 for all non-member visitors (includes museum admission)
